Wednesday, February 20, 2008. I have only read up to page 52. This book is very interesting. I am a little lost at times, but I really like the book and I have a hard time putting it down. I really liked the character of Clarisse. I think that she is very unique and interesting compared to the other characters. I am very confused about the mechanical hound? I can not think of what to write because I am more interested in finishing the book.

It is very compelling, a great story of redemption and the harsh reality of Afghanistan politically and socially. Some parts are a bit graphic, but thats all in the storytelling I suppose.
