Thursday, May 21, 2015. Health Care Budget, Hospitals or Pockets? This inspired me to look at our health system and how we spend the health budget. In 2015, the budget for the health sector was N257 Billion, of which recurrent costs were N237 Billion. You wonder how we are ever going to get to build more hospitals etc. I am not going to attempt to scrutinize the whole budget but just point at a few things I found quite interesting and thought provoking.
