Off The Wrappings, The Real Me. My grandmother was of a Peranakan descend. But as I write this today, after watching the preview of Postcards from Rosa, and after composing the underscoring music, I feel changed. The memory I want to have of my grandmother, is not the person that old age had make her become, but the person that she really is. A caring, loving grandmother who I played masak-masak with. A grandmother who will make me peanut butter bread when it was teatime.
