Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Our sweet princess V has been home just about 6 months now, and things are going incredibly well. She is blossoming, we all adore her, and life is good. On the way home from the most recent trip, the song Worn came on.

You insisted on wearing a sari today. You played with Rory while Mommy got ready for the day. We ate and ate yummy .
Thursday, December 29, 2016. This sweet young man is my son. I rescued him two weeks ago from the bondage of a Ukrainian orphanage. After the Revolution and gain of independence many soldiers came home with missing limbs and other disabilities. Leaders decided that seeing such people would bring sadness to the already weeping country. So they locked them away in institutions. It became the norm to not see such people in the public.
