Young wildlife photographer, blogger and nature lover. Monday, 6 April 2015. Yesterday I went to the Ridgeway in Oxfordshire to photograph a short-eared owl. I managed to see it hunting. After coming home and reading up about them I now know that s hort-eared owls are usually seen hunting during the day. They are medium size birds with speckled brown bodies, pale under-wings and yellow eyes. I was also pleased to photograph this red kite.
