Saturday, August 1, 2015. Springfield Armory National Historical Site, Springfield, Massachussets. Springfield Armory was set up in 1794 and for about 170 years it was one of two main places in the US to manufacture and store various arms and weapons for the military. An exhibit on national parks - where will we travel next? Sam had fun making this paper cannon. Equipment for automating some of the manufacturing of rifles.
