Yesterday I turned twenty five years old. When I looked back on my old blog recently I realized that one of the last times I wrote was on my twenty third birthday. I had just gotten off anti-depressants, quit my job and was still waiting to hear back from graduate schools. Depression, my favorite sweater.

And the rest of the numbers. Bed says I am not my body. Says I am just a breathing thing. Bed speaks and swallows me down. Then bed keeps quiet and regurgitates me back up. Bed thinks I do not belong in beds belly. Bed asks my body how my heart is. Body answers heart is the inside of beds chest. I think bed is tired too now. Body is making bed with beds eyes open.
