I produce a range of abstract paintings, sculptures and drawings that involve the exploratory use of found material and craft-associated media. Concerning materiality, my work explores the potential optical illusions attainable through the use of neon colour and gestural line. My large scale works seek to create a psychedelic experience that complements the recognizable patterns of nature while attempting to mimic the process and spontaneity of environmental growth.
