The Winter Swimming Council enjoys the full variations of the weather with the intention to swim as much as possible throughout the year in preparation for summer adventures and Channel Swims. Meetings are held immersed when the water is below 45oF. Honorary membership of this almost mythical group is granted by the executive to those who have demonstrated significant toughness to withstand harsh conditions - usually multiple winter seasons.
