To pass, trans people are often expected to fit into a very traditional, rigid sense of what it is to be a man or a woman. Trans women are expected to exude hyper-femininity even though this may not be how they wish to express. Trans men are expected to express an interest in more masculine pass times and cut their hair short. All of these expectations are bullshit.
