Day after day, the sky is first yellow behind the Santa Catalina Mountains to the east of us, then briefly pale green, then blue, blue, true blue, for the rest of the day until evening when yellow, orange and pink precede sunset to the west. These are good people, who begin their careers in public service with high ideals. It would be easy to judge them, but perhaps compassion is more approp.
