I recently attended a talk given by Professor Sir Roderick Floud on 3 gardening entrepreneurs and would like to tell what he said and also add some of my own research. I am starting in chronological order with Henry Wise. Henry Wise was born in 1653 and baptised at St Alfege, Greenwich in that September. George London kept up with the times, as any leading professional must.
