The libertarian gamer movement is here to stay. The second publicly announced UK GamerGate meeting took place in London on the weekend with more than twice as many attendees as last time. This is bad news for the authoritarian social justice warriors and the corrupt journalists who prop them up, as it shows that GameGate is far from being a small group of sock-puppet accounts on Twitter run by teenagers not old enough to drink. Being called out on all of this is good.

On Friday, we did some readings and discussed issues around assessment. After some lengthy discussion, my group concluded that some assessment was necessary for certain things. I believe that assessment is important as long as it is guiding and furthering student learning.
