This week has been science week and we were lucky to have Chris and Tom from the Sheffield Wildlife Trust. Continuing our topic of minbeasts and their habitats, we tried some pond dipping in the school grounds. The children and I were very excited to find some smooth newts, bio-valves and other rare creatures. The children worked hard to identify these and then placed them safely back in the pond. Learning is for Life! European Day- the Cyprus Way! July 14, 2015. We celebrated European day by studying and researching Cyprus. We created a Greek-style dance and performed it to the Greek music. Also we created posters and power points advertising the exciting things that happens in Cyprus as a holiday destination. We enjoyed performing and researching this country. Who stole the chocolate? .
