AFRICAN CHILD CELEBRATION IN CAMEROON. Cameroon joined other African Union member countries to observe the day of the African Child on Sunday, June, 16 2013. The Day was scrutinized under the theme eliminate harmful cultural social practices affecting children . A major highlight of the day was a plenary session by junior members of parliament at the National Assembly chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.
