I want to apologize to my body. For never allowing it to believe any compliments it received. Depriving it of nourishment for days at a time. Finger down my throat in a desperate attempt to forget forbidden calories. Admiration of skin and bones. For allowing it to be touched by boys that would never understand the depths of my sadness.
