Saturday, October 15, 2011. After the presentations made by the librarians, we were allowed to tour the library. Vijandre showed us the different sections and the collections. It ended that the tour became a photoshoot session, and I enjoyed it. As a result, we had lots of pictures taken inside the library.

IRRI, which stands for International Rice Research Institute, is a non-profit organization that was built to help farmers and other rice producers to learn more about rice crop management, different rice varieties and how they can improve rice crop yield and quality. Our LIS 260 class, lead by Prof Esposo, made our visit to the IRRI Library to observe their digitization efforts and to also check the library system that they are using. Biyernes, Oktubre 14, 2011.

Os nossos cachorros, os meus pesadelos, sua insônia, seu mais novo grande projeto de toda vida desta semana, minha vontade de viajar, a lua que estava maravilhosa esses dias.

A move to the countryside. Yes We had enough of that. Strangely, it felt just like going back home. So it was, indeed, quite straight forward. For the moment, I am off to unpack yet another box.
