The bike stand consists of a 16mm bar that was bent using the oxyacetylene welder. The bar is wedged into an 25mm bar which is welded to the frame. Two nylon fittings keep the bars together with an interference fit. The fit is tight enough for the peg to stay up when not needed. It also looks similar to an exhaust when not in use.
