Cute Ugandan children waving and smiling at us along the whole journey. Our day started early with a 0530 breakfast overlooking the volcanoes of Rwanda and an hour long bumpy volcanic-rock-road drive to the Bwindi national park. The gorillas were there; right in front of us, sitting in the floor of the forest chomping away happily on young tree shoots and leaves. What an unforgettable sight they were! We rose.
