More than 1200 people have been executed in the US since 1973. I think this is 1200 too many. The fact that the death penalty is still intact in several countries and states around the world is just ridiculous. It makes no sense to execute an individual that murdered someone, How is killing someone who has killed someone else improving our society? Capital punishment dose not solve anything, and it is in no way justice to execute someone for his or her crimes no matter how bad or brutal the committed crime was. One of the biggest sins that you could commit.
