This year, I made a new garden bed, fertilized well with organic compost and planted four new David Austin roses, to add to the two that were already here and the one that was transplanted from a too-shady location. This has been a sad year for butterflies, their absence has been notable.

I have worked as researcher in the meteorological field for several years, and after I completed my PhD in 2015 I started some collaborations in the field of atmospheric sciences. This is my first post in this blog. A blog that wants to be a window toward the world. One of oldest Universities in the world. My thesis was on the impact of Heating distribution on the Hadley circulation. The study was conducted by using an axisymmetric model.
