Original Shakespearean text in the classroom. On July 13, 2011. Originally, I was against idea of reading the modern versions of the text even though I admittedly took the short cut in my classes. I came to learn through this research platform, that these conversions are helpful in the classroom such as study aides, clarification of the text due to confusion, and teach younger students the content of the plays.
