Lsquo;Ni hao, wo jiao Frankie. For a few weeks now Room 5 has been learning Mandarin and we decided to find a special quote or name and write the Chinese characters for it. It is called Chinese calligraphy. It took a while, but in the end we all made one. Since we were learning about Chinese culture, Mr Joe suggested that we should make dragon masks, so we did that to. We used collage to make the dragon masks and you can see them behind us. Room Five Flipping OuT! .

An amazingly engaging outdoor learning experience. Thanks to all the helpers who made this day possible. In spite of a few squalls of rain, Room 12 had lots of fun wheeling around. What an awesome day Team 12 had! Creating leaf creatures, playdough pets, sand gardens, vaseline saucers, grassheads . And of course, bringing all the pets including a rabbit, a duckling, a lamb and some cats and dogs! A fun, creative, celebratory day.

We put our photos onto pic collage and added in our stories about where we would like to float to on our bubble. Augmented Reality - Quiver App. We designed our own magical bubbles and then made them come to life using the Quiver App. Room 13, 7, 8 and 9 went for an overnight camp at Waitawheta, just out of Waihi. The last adventure was a ride on the train back to Waihi.
