Thursday, 18 June 2015. I lived on the moon. We watched this short film to motivate our writing today. There was so much discussion and lots of creative ideas. Room 1 is a lovely class of Year 1s and New Entrants at Oroua Downs School. We are a small rural school on SH1, close to Himatangi Beach. Tuesday, 9 June 2015. Today we drew and painted birds. We looked at the artist James Rizzi and created birds inspired by him. We had lots of fun! The birds are cool. It was cool doing art. I liked doing the painting. It was lots of fun because I liked doing the patterns with the white crayon. Wednesday, 4 March .
