After a lovely half-term break, the children celebrated Canarian Day. The children have talked about how the party is celebrated, what makes up the Canary Islands, the typical clothes worn among other things. The children were told traditional Canarian tales and played traditional games, made typical Canarian sweets with gofio, ate a typical Canarian lunch and they finished the day off with a lovely bird show with Macaws and parrots.
