그냥 글을 쓰고 싶을 때 쓰는 공간이 될 것 같습니다. 전라남도 장성군의 축령산 휴양림 편백나무숲에 왔다. 편백나무 수백만 그루가 조림되어 피톤치드를 풍부하게 내뿜어 준다. 밤사이 전라도 지역에 10cm정도의 눈이 내렸다. 여름에는 인산인해인데다가 가끔 차도 다녀서 엉망이라는데 겨울숲은 고요하고 풍성했다. 축령산 휴양림 편백나무숲은 금곡, 모암, 대곡, 추암 등 여러 마을에서 올라갈 수 있는데 한밤중에 모암마을에 도착했다. 한밤중이고 눈길인 것이 걱정되어 깊이 위치한 숙소 대신 검색을 통해 깨끗해 보이는 축령스테이힐이란 곳에 머물렀다. 지은지 1년이 되지 않아서 시설은 깨끗했고 침대, 옷장, 의자 등 모든 가구가 편백나무로 되어 있어 방 안에 편백나무향이 그윽했다. 챙겨주는 친구의 추천으로 보게 된 카모메 식당. 영화 한 편으로 이렇게 마음이 따끈해질 수 있구나를 오랜만에 느꼈다.
