Dalam rangka mewujudkan program ini, bappenas telah menghitung besaran proyek tol laut yaitu Rp 39,5 T untuk mendevelop 24 pelabuhan utama. nilai itu belum termasuk pembelian kapal kontainer, kapal rakyat dan kapal perintis. Mudah-mudahan program tol laut ini bisa direalisasikan oleh pemerintah dan menjadi penghubung segenap rangkaian pulau di Nusantara.
