This time last year, I wrote true, real, and hard words about my anxiety, about how I related to the believing-but-doubt-filled Jews who were thinking the Messiah may just be a fairy tale, and about how God had begun to whisper words of peace into my heart despite all of that. A year has passed; I thank God for medication, because my anxiety can be controlled with that. How could I depend on scripture? Why does church seem so routine and forced? .
