The Itilian value of quality of life is strongly shown throuout this film. The film is a story of a postman who develops a love for poetry when he is delivering mail to an old poet, in his small town. As seen in the Italian culture there is a close knit community where everyone seems to know everyone else. The cultural aesthetics of the Italian culture are strongly shown.

Describing that everyone has weaknesses. If Superman is a great American icon and represents a sense of American identity how well could this character do outside of the United States? Where an evil scientist gets killed by his creation Kilink.
