Wednesday, August 20, 2014. This past week has been one of the tougher ones in my history. The only time I can remember crying this hard or being on the verge of crying this consistently I was in elementary school and my best friend had just died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm. I find myself being a hermit because I loathe crying in front of people and just about anything can set me off. Blindsided by my emotional reaction.

My life with stage IV breast cancer. Monday, August 3, 2015. Living life in increments of 12 weeks. The period between scans is 12 weeks and so I can only plan for the next 12 weeks. I never know what the treatment will be for the 12 weeks after that which means I cram the rest of my life into these tiny gaps of time.
