I started out by addressing my gaps in understanding.

My project is a color-controlled 4 note step sequencer. A sequencer is a device that plays a continuous pattern of a certain number of notes. These notes in the sequence, as well as the tempo of the sequence can be changed by different colors. White, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Green, Blue and Black all activate different combinations of notes and tempos.

This scene is particularly interesting in terms of sound overall. There are barely any dialog elements, so the sound effects and the soundtrack are the driving force of the scene, making them even more important for its timing than usual.
