Sunday, July 25, 2010. Today I finished my collection of memories of my Grandmother, Katherine Kolby. This memoir was a joy to work on it. I sent it to my siblings, my parents, and a few cousins. I possess her life history, which is a combination of her own life history and excerpts of her journal. Grandma died before she completed her autobiography, and so my grandfather lovingly finished it. I love you grandma! I dearly miss you grandma! My mother took.

Could I really be this Boring. Saturday, January 1, 2011. I joke around that 2010 was the year of the Hokie Pokie. It seemed as tho every body part I put in the surgical center ended up being altered. Perhaps my body had reached a sort of warranty expiration. In May I began working on my Thyroid. This took thru August to find some progress. Due to this process my other surgeries were put on hold. This involved MANY doctor visits and blood work as well as ultrasounds, etc.

My research focuses on questions concerning how trophic forces structure the spatial distribution of populations and how these forces vary across spatial and temporal scales.
