Sampler of non western art 2. For this assignment I chose to talk about the renowned work of Mexican born artist Frida Khalo de Rivera. Frida was born in 1907 in Coyoacan. Her work has been celebrated in Mexico as emblematic of national and indigenous tradition, and by feminists for its uncompromising depiction of the female experience and form.
