The western post-political is the prelude to the beginning of history. Politically, historically, we are already living in the aftermath of a major social change, but not an apocalypse, for no revelation was forthcoming or brought to us from without by another. We are alone, with ourselves but no longer with each other. There will be no apocalypse, no revelation. We must toil and labour to discover the truth in knowledge and experience; to find each other again.
