Zámek Lednice vznikl na místě původní gotické tvrze v letech 1544-1585. Zámek byl na sklonku 17. V letech 1766-1772 proběhla klasicistní přestavba zámku. Zámecký park Lednice byl poprvé písemně doložen v polovině 16. Od té doby se postupně měnil ve nádherný barokní park. století pak prošel částečnými klasicistními úpravami, které vyvrcholily mnohými romantickými přeměnami.
