I am a lecturer in philosophy at the University of York. While I am interested in most areas of philosophy, my work focuses on the areas that relate the question of what we, rationally or morally, ought to do. Much of it covers theoretical problems in ethics. And much of the rest is on decision theory. And more specifically on preferences. In metaphysics, I work on free will. And, sometimes, I work on the history. I have dabbled in meta-ethics.
