Two people were awarded imprisonment by an anti-narcotics court in Rawalpind on Wednesday in separate cases of carrying a huge quantity of narcotics. Musharraf Khan was handed down life term by Judge Arshad Mehmood Tabassum. He was was convicted of carrying 6,724 kg charas in a truck. He was also fined Rs1 million by the court and in case he failed to pay the fine amount he would undergo another four years imprisonment.
