Both our babies died with the same problem, a hyper-coiled umbilical chord. I always stared at the irony in it, the umbilical chord which provides the nourishment for the baby was the cause of his death too. Well, death and life is always an irony, right? I felt numb. Not sad or angry or shocked. I had the same problem.
