Mises and Margins; Keynes and Aggregates. Early this year I read Human Action. The Magnum Opus of Ludwig von Mises, an influential economic scholar in his time. Mises was older than Keynes, which also happens to correspond to where they lie in the progression of economic thought. I actually liked Human Action. I feel it describes some basic principles of microeconomics very well. It is well written, accessible, yet still uses precise and careful language.
