In 1983, a small group of people got together and decided that it would be nice to invite everyone that attended their old high school to come back home for a reunion of sorts. The school was Pocahontas High School in the Town of Pocahontas, VA and the first reunion was held in 1984 and called The Homecoming Celebration.
