On The Sky and the Earth. Tea Seas was created during a two-month artist residency with Studio Kura, in Itoshima, Japan, 2015, and was exhibited at the Studio Kura Gallery in 2015. Tea Seas uses imagery of a primordial sea contained within a teacup to explore human existence, both in the context of the domestic and of the universe. Tea is a very human beverage.
