Monday, January 12, 2009. The hectic travelling starts again. First a train out of Hong Kong back into mainland China and back to the hell hole of Guanzhou. It was so humid there and we had to spend most of it on the dirty streets before heading to the train station once again. We had spoiled ourselves in Hong Kong so we had to start pinching pennies again to make sure we would survive the rest of the trip. Thursday, January 8, 2009.

Mo is a twenty-something living in California. She studies anthropology, plays the guitar and could kick your ass at Jeopardy. We relaxed here for a week and vowed that we were not getting the 20 hour bus trip back to Nairobi. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. I went on a road trip across the desert to Al Ain the other day. This is what I saw. Travelling across the desert for 120km.
