So instead of becoming engrossed in all of the problems I see in the presidential election, I have been focusing on a few ways that I can help people who are currently worse-off than I am. The first group that came to mind was the Hurricane Sandy victims in the North. After spending hours researching late into the night, I finally found an organization I felt strongly about helping.
