Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Over the 4th of July, I headed out to Utah and saw my sister and brother-in-law as well as my dad before heading up to Jackson Hole with Holli for some much-needed hiking and river time.

February 25, 2010 in Uncategorized. Yesterday I spent the whole day in Chitwan National Park. In the morning I took a canoe ride to go birdwatching. The canoes are dug outs created locally from a single log. A cormorant, I think. A bull elephant on his way to work. Tourists do these kinds of trips in packs so I rode in one of a convoy of jeeps. Thursday, March 6, 2014. Highlights of the final 10 days- The last 120 miles or so. We inflated both pack rafts for many of the days on the river, which meant that all 4 of us were on our own boat. This meant a lot of fun time on the pack rafts for Kate and I and also keeping warm because we were all rowing! We were treated to a gorgeous sunset.
