Opened on June 28th 2004 and functions as a Shop, Tourist Information Centre and Village Hub. It is run by a manager and volunteers from the village. Requests taken Thursday pm - delivery Saturday. We sell a range of convenience goods including Daily and Sunday papers and magazines and stock local produce where possible including local eggs, jams, honey, Pipers crisps. As part of the military community, I get asked a lot about shooting homecomings. I have been through 4 deployments with my husband so I understand that capturing those moments of embrace after so long are very important, and I regret that I never had any one there to capture them.
