Yerkes 1 is characterized by the presence of rilles in the summit. It has a height of 110. A flank slope of 1. Ye1, with its low flank slope and rather low edifice volume, belongs to class B. If the effusion of lava continues over a long period of time, a steep flank slope and high edifice volume may occur as in the case of class B.
Doppelmayer 2 is a typical effusive mare dome, with a shallow flank slope, and low edifice volume. It was formed of lavas of a viscosity of 10. Pa s, which is between the ranges of values typically observed for lunar mare domes and highland domes, respectively, erupting at moderate rates over a long period of time of nine years. Is situated between classes C.

By Jim Phillips by Raffaello Lena. The Marius Hills in Oceanus Procellarum represent the lunar region in which domes are most abundant. In the Marius Hills, low domes can be found as well as steep-sided features with rough surfaces, resulting from superposed flow lobes and cones and, often, steep domes are superimposed on low domes. They are morphometrically similar to but spectrally bluer than similar domes of class E.
