Below is a photo I took while in Florence, Italy, from the Piazzale Michelangelo. The large photo is the original photo. Being aware of the tendency of our eyes to correct color and intensity is important when doing lighting because exposure to it for extended periods of time can skew what we see, and therefore skew what we create. Obviously, this often works for the negative, and not the positive, so I will be taking more breaks from light next time I cue.
