Barry had suffered with Schizoaffective Disorder for all of his adult life, but his mental health had further declined since he lost his job in 2012. When Barry was referred to Bromford, early in 2015, he had already been in his local mental health hospital for three and a half months. Dave was at rock bottom. He had lost his job, his benefits, and had just heard he would be losing his hom.

Meeting people from all walks of life, each with their own story, their own talent and most with their own challenges opened my eyes to how different we all are and how significant it ca.

For two and a half years I have worked for Bromford. For two and a half years I have worked to help people with learning disabilities feel free to make their own choices and enjoy life. For two and a half years I have lone worked, dealt with crisis, wiped tears, laughed, danced, rushed around, talked-the-talk and hopefullymade a difference. My job is very complex and also very simple.
