Civil War memory in the community. This is a website that gives a schedule of reenactments, book readings, and lectures all around the area. I find it really resourceful and I am a little surprised that there is so much Civil War activities that are going on around the community. In the film Uncivil Warriors. Film Directed by Del Lord.

Just another UMW Blogs weblog. I chose this website because I wanted to continue on the theme of Western United States conflicts during the Civil War. Like I stated in a early blog post, it seems that many people forget about this bloody aspect of the Civil War. The conflict between the Bushwhackers and Jayhawkers created a personal, deep-seeded hatred for one another.
