Coming into this class I was already pretty dang used to writing. I took IB English courses in high school, and was on the school newspaper. I had become the master of writing pieces in no time at all, and getting pretty decent grades on those pieces. Coming into Writing 110, I felt like the class would probably be a complete waste of my time, but I was wrong.

This past week my family celebrated the life of my great grandmother. she spent nearly ninety two years loving on everyone she came across. as i remember her life, i realized what a blessing she was, full of love and joy. i never heard her raise her voice, or even become angry for that matter. if i can become half the woman she was, i would consider that a success. Everyone deserves to feel that kind of love. Granny, i love you.
